Oscar De La Renta, previewed his Pre-Fall 2012 line earlier today in New York city. Most of the clothes in this pre-fall 2012 collection look very wearable and can go from work to play. There were some "Great Gatsby" Daisy Buchanan -esque pieces but a lot of these look to be made for the Chicago woman.

Chief among them were a series of dresses, both to the knee and floor-length, cut from crinkled and pleated silk. Whisper-thin and nearly weightless, they're the kind of frock you'll turn to again and again when the weather warms: fabulous, but also easy.
